After the sudden death of his father, the King, Edward II takes over and brings his lover Gio back to the Royal Palace, despite the objection of Isabella his Queen and their Advisors.

But when he’s forced to make quick changes within society, they soon realize that Edward isn’t as strong a King as needed to keep things running smoothly, so sacrifices must be made. Gio and Isabella are both forced to ask themselves:
